Grove Lane Baptist Church runs a Day Centre for elderly and vulnerable people on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

They provide a hot meal and company for our clients and rely solely on volunteers to cook and drive people to the church. We are in urgent need of drivers who will take clients to church and back home again.(Last week some clients were unable to attend as we did not have enough drivers)

    • A background in and knowledge of accounts payable/receivable and general finance functions
    • Knowledge of Sage Line 50 or similar accounts package

Principal Tasks and Duties

  • Offering assistance to the administration team handling the resource overflow of the Instructions Processor, Logistics Coordinator and Admin Clerks.
  • Liaising with our field agents to ensure that investigations are completed in accordance with specific case and client requirements.
  • Handling incoming calls from our clients, their customers and our field agents.
  • Offering assistance to the typing department and handling the resource overflow of both the audio typing and statement transcribing pool.
  • Audio typing dictated reports ensuring that they are in the specific format requested by the specific client.
  • Ensuring our case management system is accurately updated.

 Key Skill Requirements

  • Audio typing speed of at least 60w/m.
  • Accurate data input skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different tasks and work under pressure.
  • Confident and articulate phone manner.
  • Team player mentality.
