Wendy is the founder of, and driving force behind the well-known Moxie Mingle Networking group and ILoveBramhall the quintessential go-to website for all things Bramhall, and is now bringing that same dynamism and sense of community to Cheadle Hulme.
Still living where she was born and raised in Bramhall, with close links to Cheadle Hulme as an ex Hulme Hall Grammar girl. Wendy’s love of her village shines through in everything she does. Wendy’s ‘I Love…’ brand was born of a desire to bring the community together, share and promote all the fantastic events and activities going on in and around the village, as well as really helping the local businesses to thrive. The I Love… ethos is to encourage the people of Bramhall to shop local and be involved with their area, giving a feeling of ‘membership’ to everyone – the residents, businesses, churches, schools, community groups and home-based businesses… Everyone!
Wendy and ILoveBramhall are proud to be involved with Bramhall Together Trust who organise Bramhall Festival, Light Up Bramhall and Bramhall’s Got Talent. She also organising the Big Tea Party – a completely free event for 250 senior citizens.
Wendy has always known the next-door-neighbour Cheadle Hulme would closely follow Bramhall to reap the many benefits of its own dedicated ILoveCheadleHulme site…
Kate is Cheadle Hulme through-and-through, living in the village, just a stone’s throw from her childhood home – where her parents still live – and also her father-in-law.
Kate went to school in Cheadle Hulme, first at Lane End and then Cheadle Hulme High (her youngest children are still at school in Cheadle Hulme, whilst the eldest went to school AND Sixth Form here and now voluntarily coaches a local football team in his spare time) as well as worked here for many years, run a small business here, organised events – PTA Summer fetes, football tournaments and a Christmas Market – and community groups here.
Kate knows and loves her area and is passionate about keeping Cheadle Hulme special and supporting the businesses in Cheadle Hulme. Having been planning a community group for some time, Kate jumped at the chance to help Wendy spread some of IloveBramhall’s magic over here with our very own ILoveCheadleHulme…
