Cheadle Hulme’s handy shopping centre has a bright, new resident, and Cheadle Hulme has a welcome new dental practice!
SK Eight Dental and Cosmetic Centre is a real family enterprise. Principal Dentist, Ben Watcyn-Jones founded SK Eight Dental, along with his dad, Robert Watcyn-Jones.
Ben has been a dentist in Cheadle Hulme for over 9 years. That made Cheadle Hulme – and the Shopping Centre – the obvious choice when Ben decided to set up his own practice. He loves Cheadle Hulme, and the wider area, the community, and the people.
The Shopping Centre seemed the perfect place, as there is ample on-site free car parking as well as easy access to public transport links. It’s also SO handy, he says, to be close to all the other local shops and businesses.
Ben really hopes to help bring more new visitors to the shopping centre. In fact, as a practice, Ben and the team would love to look to future collaborations with neighbouring shops and businesses, perhaps to offer loyalty rewards. This, he feels, could be a big benefit to both local businesses AND customers. It’s so wonderful to meet a new business owner already looking to improve things.
SK Eight Dental and Cosmetic Centre is exactly what you’d expect. A brand-new, state-of-the-art private dental practice nestled in the very heart of Cheadle Hulme village. The practice offers everything you’d expect a Cheadle Hulme dentist to offer – and more:
They can also offer regular dental hygiene appointments to patients, and also to non-patients who may not be able to access their own dental hygienist currently.
Already, the SK Eight Dental practice is expanding. Just recently, two new members have joined the friendly, helpful team.
Catherine Conway is a new associate dentist and facial aesthetic practitioner. She will take care of all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. However, she will also offer facial aesthetic treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections and fillers.
New treatment coordinator, Saskia Farrington has also started work at SK Eight Dental. Saskia’s role is to spend time talking with patients, in a relaxed and non-clinical environment, and listening to their individual needs and wishes. This non-clinical care, while working closely with the Dentists, ensures SK Eight Dental deliver the best possible outcome and care – for each and every patient.
It’s immediately clear to see that the team at SK Eight Dental are passionate about delivering impeccable customer service. Gemma says it’s all about the customer journey: “our aim is that each and every patient feels they have received excellent care and service at every appointment. We’ve all been subjected to a dragon on reception from time to time or waited for a return call that never arrives. At SK Eight Dental, it’s different.
We understand that people’s time AND money is precious, so we want to ensure OUR patients never feel taken for granted or frustrated with the service they receive. It may sound a cliché, but actually, we feel so strongly about this that there is weekly staff training to ensure this standard is upheld. We have already been fortunate to receive some fabulous Google reviews from our patients.” That says it all.
Everyone at SK Eight Dental regularly supports their local businesses. For example – Christmas just isn’t Christmas in the Watcyn-Jones household without a J.Pimlott turkey! Nobody can wait for restrictions to be lifted so they can enjoy more of the local shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, and other businesses to their full potential.
All the team are thrilled to work in a village that boasts almost every shop and service you could ever need. SK Eight Dental have formed great relationships with our neighbours in the shopping centre and are enjoying recommending each other’s services. They can’t wait to get to know – and recommend even more!
