Christian Aid Week takes place in May each year but will – like many things at present – be different this time.
Normally, their volunteers are busy dropping envelopes through doors and collecting donations as well as embarking on activities like the Sponsored Walk but these cannot take place this year given the present restrictions.
The need, however, is just the same and Christian Aid’s work is even more in focus as many of the countries which they support face the Coronavirus Pandemic and the vulnerable will desperately need help.
Last year they raised in excess of £8,000 within Cheadle Hulme and have set up a local Just Giving page and the details for donations are below.

The Cheadle Hulme Christian Aid Committee which forms part of Churches Together in Cheadle Hulme are very grateful to local residents for their continued support and generous donations.
Churches Together in Cheadle Hulme continue to work arduously to add to the existing charms of Cheadle Hulme.
