Adeona Travel – just by Oak Meadow on Station Road – bring you all the advantages of a big company with all the personal service of a travel consultant as well as all the technology of the online agents.
The best of all worlds, in fact. They’re genuinely personal travel agents, but with a reassuring and long-standing bricks-and-mortar presence. That reassuring presence brings a total guarantee that holidays booked with Adeona Travel will be exactly what they should be, and payments will be totally safe. Adeona was the goddess of safe returns – that ethos of protection is absolutely at the heart of this business.
A truly local business with a fantastic history, Adeona took over Cheadle Hulme’s much-loved Hilma Travel back in 2011. However, the Adeona story started back in 1988…
This year, Adeona (the trading name of Purser’s Travel) celebrates 30 years in travel. The whole team – which still comprises Helen, Dina, Karen and Iain – is immensely proud to have such a long history. They’re genuinely touched to have been part of so many people’s happy memories, life changing experiences and holidays of a lifetime. They ALL still love what they do.
The symbol of a 30th anniversary is a ‘pearl’ and owner Helen says that the ‘pearls’ within the business are the people who work there. Travel is a wonderful industry to be a part of and they all feel very fortunate for the training and experiences they’ve enjoyed over the last 30 years. They’ve visited many wonderful places both as holidays and part of educational trips and delight in sharing their knowledge.
“On behalf of us all I thank you for being part of our journey, we couldn’t have asked to share it with nicer people!”
