Station Road Opticians in Cheadle Hulme caused a bit of a stir with the launch of their latest eyewear collection ‘Vinylize’ glasses made out of Vinyl Records. The event was themed on music and vinyl with a DJ playing music to astonished drivers on Station Road in Cheadle Hulme.

The event held on Friday evening was supported by other local businesses. Gusto restaurant provided gorgeous food and cocktails whilst Plastic Fantastic a local DJ played smooth vinyl sounds.

Deepak Oberai the Director at Station Road Opticians said,

‘We wanted to invite local residents and catch people finishing work on a Friday evening to make them aware glasses can be really cool. The brand we launched called Vinylize is handmade in Budapest and did cause a bit of a stir’.

Vinyl has made a bit of a comeback in the last few years and to see spectacles made of them is quite remarkable.

Station Road Opticians opened doors in January this year and is quite different to other opticians in the way it looks and the styles of glasses they carry.
