Julia Knightley’s boutique clinic is set in a beautiful and elegant period property on Station Road. Nestling between the Board and Platform 5, the clinic is both discreet and accessible – much like Julia’s treatments.
Specialising in non-surgical and subtle anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation, Julia Knightley – Boutique Clinic aims only to enhance your natural beauty. Of course, enhancing that natural beauty also has a very positive effect on self-esteem and well-being. Indeed, a study published in Dd showed that patients treated with Botox ‘showed an increase in overall quality of life and self-esteem’.
Treatments at Julia Knightley – Boutique Clinic include:
Facial Rejuvenation Treatments
Despite the air of luxury and exclusivity within Julia Knightley – Boutique Clinic, Julia is incredibly approachable and even down-to-Earth. She’s also refreshingly honest. If she feels that a treatment won’t benefit a patient, or give the result they desire, Julia will say so. Being a qualified nurse, Julia is also the very soul of discretion and will NOT discuss friends who may or may not be past patients. Very reassuring!
Beautiful, clever and stylish, Julia isn’t afraid to practice what she preaches. A vicar’s daughter, Julia’s early years weren’t always straightforward and involved much upheaval. It’s easy to imagine that now she leads a gilded life. In truth, Julia’s worked incredibly hard and overcome some serious obstacles to get where she is. In fact, she’s an inspiration. She’s battled serious illness and raised her family by herself, as well as creating her business. That business, she says, is all about giving her clients a ‘positive outlook on their life’.
Julia’s early career was spent as a Theatre Nurse, before completing a degree and training in midwifery. However, she freely admits that she loves ‘glitz and glamour’ and has a passion for fashion and beauty, so a change into cosmetic surgery beckoned. Still using her nursing skills, Julia wanted to make non-surgical anti-ageing accessible to anyone so decided to set up her own business. Working as a school nurse while building her own client base, she was diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery and gruelling treatment while renovating the clinic. She’s wonder woman, I suggest, but typically she laughs it off. She is though, despite the modesty.
The new business gave Julia and her family something good to focus on during this scary and difficult time. As Julia says – and as I can testify – going through a tough time makes one appreciate life and want to make the most of it. It’s clear that Julia personifies that. Her positive approach shines out of her – she also loves her clients and loves coming to work each day.
Julia also loves Cheadle Hulme and still lives locally, with her children attending local schools. She’d always loved her building and was thrilled to be able to take it on and make it her own. Not just a beautiful landmark, it’s also central, with plenty of parking. Julia loves being able to put something into the village. Julia Knightley – Boutique Clinic is now in its 4th year so it’s fair to say that Cheadle Hulme loves Julia Knightley, too!
